TwoTired is a motorcycle ride-planning app. We try to do as little with your data as possible, and we never sell it. This page is the truthful version of what gets collected and why.

We do not collect: contacts list, advertising identifiers, or anything used for cross-app tracking.
Voice input: when you tap the microphone, what happens to your speech depends on where you're using TwoTired. On the iOS app, recognition runs on your device through Apple's built-in speech APIs — the audio doesn't leave your phone. On the web version, your browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.) handles recognition; that may involve sending audio to the browser maker's servers. We never receive or store the raw audio in either case; we only see the text the recogniser produces.
We use a small number of service providers to run the app. Each receives only the data they need to do their job:
We do not share your data with anyone else. We do not sell it. We do not use it for advertising.
While your account exists, your data stays. When you delete your account (see below), we wipe your rows from our database within 24 hours. Backups roll over within 30 days.
Open the app menu and tap Delete account. This removes your profile, routes, bug reports, friendships, and shared positions from our servers within 24 hours.
Prefer email? Write to support@twotired.net from the address on your account and we'll do it manually.
Your location is the only sensitive data the app actively collects. We use it for two things:
We never log your location history persistently for tracking purposes. We never sell location data.
TwoTired is not designed for or directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
If we change anything material, we'll bump the effective date at the top and let existing users know in-app before the change takes effect.
